 Embryoadoption.org Re-launches with BWE's Help BWE completed the conversion of another design firms Flash-site to a feature-rich, functionally-driven database site in record time. The original site was slow to load, difficult to update, fraught with errors and cumbersome. Frustrated with the problems of their Flash-based site, Kathryn Deiters, Director of Development and Administration, at Nightlight Christian Adoptions contacted BWE to quickly convert their existing site to one that would provide better navigation and could be easily updated in-house. Using Cold Fusion as the primary development tool and re-using the existing graphics, BWE was able to provide a turn-key solution in a little over a month. The new site includes a content manger and image upload feature, a graphical search interface of service providers that can be easily updated, a dynamically alphabetized glossary of terms, and a FAQ feature that uses JavaScript to present answers to frequent questions in multiple categories. Additionally, a basic order interface allows users to request free DVD's and VHS about adoption. Besides receiving an order confirmation via email, the order information is stored in password protected site administration area allowing for quick retrieval of order information and status. Embryoadoption.org was re-launched on July 30 with hosting services provided by BWE.
