 BWE Creates Client Portal BWE recently developed a client portal, or entryway to the client's intranet. The portal offers a broad array of resources and services that allows users to view local weather, current news, and conduct searches of business and people. These services are provided by other sites, but are presented to users so that they appear to be part of the client's intranet and are free of advertising. The portal offers the following services to its registered users.
The client wanted to incorporate content from other sites but did not want to lose the "look and feel" and existing user interface. BWE was able to achieve this by dynamically pulling the content from other providers, storing the content in a database, and then presenting the content on the client's web site to their specifications.
